How to negotiate Sage's price

Sage does not publish negotiated deals, so these levers come from how it charges in the UK, ranked by likely saving.

How to negotiate Sage's price
Rank Lever How it works What it can save
[01]
Start through Barclays
Barclays business account holders get any Sage Accounting plan free for 12 months, then 50% off, against 90% off for 6 months direct.
Up to £708 in year one on Plus, then £30 a month
[02]
Buy through an accountant
Practices on Sage for Accountants pay an RRP of £14 (Start), £20 (Standard) and £25 (Plus) per client, before Sage Points discounts. Ask yours to bill it.
Up to £34 a month on Plus
[03]
Choose Sage Accounting over Sage 50 if it fits

[04]
Pick the cheapest Sage 50 user band
Sage 50 Professional jumps by band: 1 user £234, 5 £247, 10 £259, 20 £275. Count real concurrent users before you buy.
£13 to £41 a month
[05]
Use the payroll built into Sage Accounting
