Mistral Vibe pricing questions

Mistral Vibe Free costs nothing. Pro is C$21 a month and Team C$35 per user a month, for 2 to 100 users, both before tax. Enterprise is priced through sales. In the iOS app, Vibe Pro is C$20 a month or C$200 a year.

Yes. Mistral renamed Le Chat to Vibe on 28 May 2026. Accounts, plans and conversations carried over and chat.mistral.ai is unchanged, so Le Chat Pro is now Vibe Pro at the same US$15 a month it has cost since February 2025.

Not on the web. Mistral's pricing page offers US dollars and euros, at the same figures in both, so a card may add foreign transaction fees. The Canadian App Store sells Vibe Pro in CAD. CAD figures here are converted at the ECB rate of 16 October 2026.

No. Prices are shown excluding taxes. Mistral's terms for customers outside the EEA say tax is added at the rate of the billing country; GST, HST or QST is not named.

Yes, on Pro and Team. Mistral's help centre says annual billing includes a 20% discount. The pricing page lists monthly prices only.

Included usage is used first. Past it, use continues only if pay as you go is switched on and the organisation has prepaid credits, charged at API rates, with an optional monthly spending limit. Without it, use stops until the next period.

The API is priced per million tokens in US dollars. Mistral Medium 3.5 is US$1.50 for input and US$7.50 for output; Mistral Large 4 is on sale at US$0.68 and US$2.09, half its US$1.36 and US$4.18 list price; Mistral Small 4 is US$0.15 and US$0.60. Batch processing is 50% off.

No. Pro has been US$15 a month since it launched in February 2025, and Team US$25 per user in every archived copy of the pricing page from August 2025 to October 2026. The price is the same in every country.

Mistral Vibe pricing sources and methodology

From mistral.ai/pricing on 18 October 2026, and Mistral's help centre, docs and terms. The page shows the same US dollar prices, excluding taxes, in every country, so prices here exclude GST, HST or QST. Mistral Vibe was called Le Chat until 28 May 2026.

Estimates from list prices, excluding GST, HST or QST, calculated in US dollars and converted to CAD at the European Central Bank reference rate (1 USD = 1.4161 CAD, 16 October 2026). Free and Pro serve one person each, so two or more people are priced on Team, which bills at least 2 seats and stops at 100. Extra usage is added at cost. API tokens are priced on the chosen model from Ensurva's AI price guides, less Pro's included usage, shown on the pricing page as about US$26 a month. Company size assumes every employee gets a seat. Enterprise is not priced.

Mistral's help centre says Pro and Team are 20% off paid yearly, but the pricing page shows no yearly price, so none is listed in the plans or used by the calculator.

The API table comes from the same data as Ensurva's AI price guides, read from Mistral's own pricing pages, in US dollars per million tokens.

The API chart comes from Ensurva's AI price guides, in US dollars per million tokens. Vibe's plan prices are from Mistral's Pro launch announcement and archived copies of its pricing page from August 2025 to October 2026, in US dollars, monthly, before tax. The CAD cost has also moved with the exchange rate.

Drawn from how Mistral charges, not from records of negotiated deals.

The calculator's By use case tab puts each person on a seat that suits how heavily their role uses AI. Software developers use it most, about 15% of their working hours against about 6% across all workers (Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, 2026), so they get the heavier seat where the plan has one. Content, support and finance staff fit a standard seat, and general office staff use AI least. Each automated job is priced at a typical size, about 100 tokens to 75 words: a support reply reads about 1,100 words and writes 200, and a contract summary reads 10,000 and writes 750. Decision jobs read the record and give a short typed answer: about 600 words to route a support ticket, 4,500 to check a document against a policy. Those sizes are Ensurva's own estimates. A model that writes no text, such as Jev, is priced on decision jobs only. Jobs are priced as API use on the vendor's default model, less any API credits the plan includes.

Prices are estimates from Mistral's published list prices on the date shown. Check mistral.ai before buying.
